Arizona’s Culinary Scene is Totally KILLING it
Okay, I might be somewhat biased because I had several amazing meals last week with my colleagues during Arizona Restaurant Week – and, there may have been a preponderance of pork products at each of these meals (mmmm ham) – but I think our state is totally killing it on the culinary front.
It seems like everywhere you look there’s an independent, chef-driven restaurant that’s brimming with tasty fare from local purveyors and farmers. Spots like Okra and Ocotillo, Southern Rail and Smokehaus, Pomo and Postino are wowing guests night after night. And don’t even get me started on our local wines, cheeses, heirloom grains and olive oil!The folks behind #ArizonaRestaurantWeek have to be super proud of the press and social chatter too, as most places were packed with happy guests, the OMA crew among them. Here’s just an amuse bouche of what we sampled in celebration of Arizona’s culinary delights.
The best results come from working together.
