Worried about forgetting a birthday or an anniversary? Not up for braving the extreme cold, or in our case, extreme heat? Or maybe you just need a quick pick-me-up? Have no fear—concierge services are here!  More and more companies are providing this once luxury service to take the stress out of shopping and are doing so with their own special flares. With offerings ranging from food to flowers, there is probably a service to meet your immediate needs. Check out these services that we predict will really take off in the coming year.

Uber

You know Uber as the Taxi-on-demand service for when you need a ride to the airport or home from the company holiday party, but did you know Uber is also exploring deliveries? This year, Uber pulled up to doorsteps with ice cream, roses and even kittens, but it is also beta testing a courier service. In the coming year, Uber may be rolling out more deliveries to make our lives a little easier.

The Bouqs

The founder of The Bouqs may have walked away from Shark Tank without a deal, but the online florist is modernizing the floral industry with a helpful online shop. The Bouqs is an online flower store with fixed prices for all bouquet sizes, for all of its beautiful arrangements. However, what makes this online florist really special is its concierge service. Members can plug in important dates and can schedule flower deliveries so customers will never end up in the doghouse again for a forgotten anniversary.

Safeway

If you are stuck at home, or not feeling up to head to the grocery store, explore Safeway’s online shopping experience. Not only can shoppers buy all their needed grocery items from the comfort of their own home, but Safeway will also deliver all the items straight to your doorstep. Shoppers can also save previous grocery lists to speed up the shopping process.

Concierge services will likely have an increased presence as technology evolves and immediacy is more of an expectation. Who knows, in a matter of time errands may be a thing of the past.

The best results come from working together.
